Our Teachers

My experience with teaching children of all ages has spanned over the course of more than 30 years.  I began teaching Sunday School classes and tutored elementary and high school children at a young age, since before my collegiate days. My current role as a preschool teacher began in the early 2000’s, where I served as an assistant teacher at a private school. In 2004, I made the decision to open up my own Home Preschool which began with a mere, four students – of which I have continued to expand, tirelessly build upon, and invest in for the last 15 years. I am proud to say that I have continued to uphold the same core values of my classroom and teaching principles for all these years – that children should not begin their education with memorizing mere concepts. From a young age, children have the ability to grasp the fundamentals and basic building blocks of reading and mathematics, which they could then utilize and continue to build upon after leaving my classroom. 

With regards to education and certification, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and have a teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education.

Hi, my name is Juliana Harsojo. Back in 2008, my husband and I had the joy to send our youngest daughter to Marie Preschool. We immediately fell in love with the school and Ms. Marie’s teaching skills. Since 2011, I have had the privilege of being a teacher at Marie Preschool.

I received a Bachelor of Science Degree from California State University, Fresno, in Finance and completed an Early Childhood Developmental Training through Bible Study Fellowship, teaching in their Preschool Program for 8 years. My work and my passion have consistently led me to caring for young children. Building children’s academic values and their character has always been a strong belief of mine. Both academic values and character have an important positive impact on the growth of the children as a whole and provide a solid foundation for a lifetime of learning. Children will be the future generation and I have a passion to teach them with a loving atmosphere. I aspire to encourage them to face new challenges that will help to build confidence and success in their life. Cheering them up with a big smile is always my goal!

I have been involved in roles specializing in instruction for the very young for over five years. I began as a volunteer at Indonesian Evangelical Church Sunday School Ministries where I served as teacher in the classroom and gradually moved on to her role as head coordinator for 2017. I was also involved in Bible Study Fellowship both as a member and as a volunteer-teacher to kids ages 3-5.  My passion for teaching comes from my firm belief in the calling and opportunity God has given me to minister specifically to children. I believe in delivering holistic education where kids not only train for academic knowledge, but also train in character development to the glory of Jesus Christ.
