Marie Preschool
(Located in a neighborhood near the cross section of Chino Hills Parkway and Eucalyptus Ave; near Ayala High School)
Interest Learning Centers
We believe in ensuring that our children are in a safe and enriching learning environment – one that would allow them to maximize their potential to attain fundamental concepts and retain them for the long run. Our teachers are dedicated to creating a learning environment where the values of imagination and creativity intersect with the fundamentals of academics, and we have created a facility which fosters and allows for a balance of these principles. Furthermore, with the space that we have created for students to engage with various activities throughout the day, ranging from social play, to group learning, to individual practice, we ensure that students are individually monitored, and that staff are attentive to the needs of each respective student at any point of the day.
Indoor Facilities
We have two indoor facilities that comprise of our learning centers:
- Main classroom that houses the main learning area, tables, and recreational activities
- Adjoining classroom that contains additional tables for different learning activities
We promote educational and extracurricular activities that would help to develop fine motor skills such as:
- Play House Area – Kitchen, table set, doll house
- Blocks Area – Unit blocks, building bricks, Lincoln logs, toy railroad tracks
- Library Area – Variety of children’s books for new readers
- Art – Painting, drawing, coloring, arts and crafts
- Music – singing children’s songs, playing beginner-level instruments
Outdoor Facility
Our playground is designed for active play that allows children to use and refine their gross motor skills in a natural way.
- Tree house/swing set/play set
- Tricycles/scooters
- Sports balls
All outdoor activity during recess is monitored vigilantly by faculty at all times.
